- We have an awesome tour guide recommended by Jill Rosen. You know if Jill has no complaints about something it has to be good.
- We are covering a lot of ground considering that we have a two year old that is fairly non-compliant when it comes to getting in and out of things like car seats and strollers and a mother-in-law who likes to mark her territory at each site.
- So far we have seen: Yad Vashem, Biblical Zoo, Palmach Museum, Ammunition Hill, The Bullet Factory, Tel Aviv farmers/crafts market, archaeological sites in the Old City, walked the wall of the Old City and we even planted some trees in the JNF forest.
- Out of 6 meals outside the apartment so far Andrew has had shawarma 4 times. I think it is starting to become an actual goal of his to eat NOTHING else for lunch and if possible have it for dinner as well.
Still looking for a full nights sleep. I took an Ambien last night for the first time on this trip since I hadn't slept for so long. Sadly Ambien is no match for your two year old daughter waking you up at 2:30 AM by vomiting all over your chest and head. I'm beginning to think it wasn't the milk that made Claire throw up.
